Prior to launching Justin Solar PR, Justin held roles as Vice President of Entertainment at both 42West and R&CPMK in New York, representing film, streaming and television clients including NBCUniversal, Lionsgate, Hulu Originals, Apple TV+, YouTube Originals, HBO/MAX, MasterClass, Warner Bros. Animation, MGM+ as well as corporate communications and talent representation for clients including BuzzFeed Studios, Hidden Pictures, Asteria/XTR/Documentary+, AARP’s Movies For Grownups Awards, CBS Evening News, Film at Lincoln Center/NYFF, Tribeca Festival and more.
In addition, Justin has held various roles within Entertainment publicity at Fox Searchlight, 20th Century Fox and Entercom Corporate Communications. During his time at Fox Searchlight he was on the National Publicity team responsible for Academy Award winning films Birdman, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Brooklyn, He Named Me Malala, Wild and more. At 20th Century Fox, Justin worked on blockbuster titles including Deadpool, Hidden Figures, War for The Planet of The Apes, Ice Age: Collision Course, Logan, X-Men Apocalypse, Trolls and The Boss Baby. During his time at Entercom, Justin worked on the corporate communications plan for their $2.4 Billion merger with CBS Radio and managed day-to-day communication strategy for 235 stations across 48 markets.
Justin is a graduate of the George Washington University and currently serves as co-chair of the GWU Media & Communications Alumni Network and resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his wife, Emily, and Australian Labradoodle, Mac.
